Joe has been a member of the Greater Lansing Community for 8 years, where he lives with his wife and son. He was born and raised in the Metro Detroit Area. He completed his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. After spending 4 years working in various campaign finance positions, Joe founded Popek Compliance to expand his practice.
